The kit contains enough ingredients to create 4 beautiful lip balms, and the box also contains lip balm pots, neat gift bags and label stickers so you can decorate your lip balms when they are ready to use.
Organic shea butter nourishes, moisturizes and softens even the driest lips. Organic beeswax gives the lip balm a firm texture and a subtle honey fragrance. The red shimmer coloring is derived from natural minerals. Iron oxide provides the gorgeous tint and mica adds shimmer and shine to your lip balm. Mica is a 100% biodegradable mineral - read more about it on our ingredient list here.
In addition to these ingredients, all you need is a pan, oil and honey.

Tip: Go for a flavor neutral oil when making your lip balm. We recommend grape seed oil.

How to use
Lip Balm Kit Made by Me
Step 1
Make your lip balms
Put on your chemist hat. Melt the beeswax in a pan over low heat while stirring. Remove the pan from the heat and add shea butter, oil and honey. Stir until the mix is completely melted and smooth. Add as much tint as you wish. Pour the lip balm into the pots and allow it to set at room temperature for at least two hours.
Step 2
Time to decorate!
Decorate the lip balm pots and put them into the gift bags (if you can bear to give them away, that is).

Tip
Tip: Start slowly by adding a little tint at a time. You can always add more and make the lip balm darker, but you cannot make it lighter again.
